On-Going Programs at the Forest Lake Senior Community Center 

Whether you are looking to learn something new, eat healthy and exercise to stay in shape, or play fun games with friends, you can find it at Forest Lake Senior Center!

Forest Lake Senior Center offers affordable – and some free! – opportunities. Here, you can meet and connect with friends while discovering new interests or refining old ones. You can also share a nutritious meal, stay active and healthy in a friendly and vibrant environment.

500 Cards
Mondays  @ 1:00 to 3:30 PM ($1, all ages). Refreshments & snack provided 
500 Cards
Tuesdays 1:00 to 3:30 PM ($1, ages 55+). Refreshments & snack provided 
Bingo
1st and 3rd Wednesday each month 12:45 to 3:15 PM ($1 per card for the day, all ages). Refreshments & snack provided 
Birthday Luncheons  3rd Wednesday, serving at 11:30 each month. ($6 for anyone age 50+ for any month you were born). You must sign up the Monday before the luncheon.  
Bridge - Party
Tuesdays 12:00 to 3:30 PM ($1, all ages, all skill levels). Note: if not enough players in the winter, come and play with the 500 card club! Refreshments & snack provided 
Bridge - Duplicate
1st and 3rd Wednesday each month, September – May, 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Must have a partner (currently full). 
Compassionate Friends (Support Group)  4th Tuesday each month 7:00 to 9:00 PM. When a child dies, at any age, the family suffers intense pain and may feel hopeless and isolated. The Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family. No charge.

Exercise Co-ed Classes  Mondays, Wednesdays 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and Fridays 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, sponsored by the YMCA in Forest Lake. FREE depending on your insurance, otherwise $2 per day, all ages. Focus is on conditioning, balance and toning. 
Foot Care  8:00 to 1:00 PM various Wednesdays and Thursdays each month. Sponsor is Foot & Nail Care by Leanne. Leanne is a RN and a certified foot care nurse who will be glad to send you home with happy feet. You must call Leanne for reservations (appointments fill fast) 651-472-3682. Refreshments and snack provided. 
International Cards:  2nd,4th & 5th Wednesdays each month 1:00 to 3:30 PM ($1, all ages). Refreshments and snack provided.  
Painting Pals & Crafts:  Tuesdays 11:00 to 3:00 PM ($1, all ages and all skill levels). Watercolors, acrylics, oils and paint by numbers. Also, if you have a craft, bring it in to work on! Refreshments and snack provided. 
Potlucks  1st Wednesday each month with an 11:30 AM serving (Free if bringing a dish to share, otherwise $4.) Ages 50+
